Fame is a Vapour

So I return to the old keyboard / mouse combo after a few days’ R & R in the Alps, and find that in my absence, I’ve been propelled into the blogging stratosphere.
Seriously though - and I appreciate that this might come across as clichéd and saccharine (sick bags to be distributed shortly to those in need) - it’s an honour to have been selected as a finalist in The Best of Blogs ‘best sex blog’ category. My sincere thanks to those visitors who saw fit to nominate me, and to the judges at BOB for choosing ‘Easily Aroused’ from a fine selection of adult-themed journals.
Having checked the current voting, I see that I am running neck and neck with Fantasy of ‘Fantasy Found‘ for the privilege of bringing home the field. Ah well. As Mark Twain said, “Fame is a vapour.” Still, should anyone feel strongly enough to want to try and improve my ranking within the field, you can vote for ‘Easily Aroused’ here.
Allied to that boost is the fact that during my absence, ‘Easily Aroused’ received visitor number 100,000. Not exactly the biggest attendance figure in the blogosphere, but from humble beginnings back in April 2005, the blog is now averaging over 4000 visitors a week. So again, my thanks for your continued patronage.
And by way of celebration, a return to that wondrous adult blogging phenomenon that is CockBloggingWednesday.
