I admit it … during the last few months I’ve grown increasingly intrigued by some of the conventions of the adult blog world.
“CockbloggingWednesday” for instance.
The first time I saw the phrase was in a post on the (now seemingly abandoned) The Sexual Awakening of a 30-something Wife. My initial thought was something along the lines of: “What the hell?” Curiosity engaged, I thumbed through various other blogs, encountering the phrase again in the writings of VirginSlut, Fred and Wilma, and Freya, who I’ve since learned was the originator of the convention.
It’s good to know that there is balance in the blog-universe though. I soon discovered “PussybloggingFriday” running alongside its masculine-themed cousin. And if my chattering sources are to be believed, there’s work afoot to introduce a ‘his-and-hers’ joint endeavour to be henceforth known as “ButtockBloggingSunday”.
Keen to fully participate in the adult blogosphere, last week I decided that there ought to be at least one post on Easily Aroused that carried the ‘CockbloggingWednesday’ tag. That post happened to be 25 words or less #2. But this week, I’ve been tempted to go a little further. I’ve just learned that Anakalia has decided to devote Wednesdays on her blog Salacity to cockblogging, as a tribute to her fondness for the male member. She’s currently asking for donations of cock (in photographic form!), whatever their “shape, size, cut or hairstyle”. And I’ve also discovered a post by VS from earlier this year in which she laments the lack of male bloggers willing to strut their stuff via self-portrait.
Encouraged (rightly or wrongly) by such interest, I’ve decided to add a second CBW post to EA. It’s a somewhat more personal effort this time. Plenty of male bloggers have been there before - Figleaf, Remmy, Rupert and HotHardCock to name but a few. And for one night only, I’m going to join their ranks.
